Silpakorn University Demonstration School was established from the initiative of Ms. Mali Atipat, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Acting Vice-Chancellor in 1973 and accepted students in the academic year 1974. In the first year, students were accepted to only 2 levels: Primary 5 and Secondary 1 (M.S.1), 2 classes per level. The curriculum was created by the faculty of the Faculty of Education, with the same status as a department. Silpakorn University Demonstration School has a philosophy, aspirations, vision, missions and educational management goals that maintain the original identity but adapt to suit the changing situation.
