The American School of Bangkok Sukhumvit Campus first opened its gates to learners in 1983 and is accredited by the Thai Ministry of Education and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The school is situated in the heart of the residential area (Sukhumvit Soi 49-3, Bangkok) with modern, spacious, well-equipped classrooms, science labs, computer and media centers, a library, music studios, a soccer field, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, a playground, and a modern sports complex.In 2022, the American School of Bangkok joined hands with XCL Education, a leading education group dedicated to providing innovative and high-quality education to students across Southeast Asia. The school was renamed to XCL American School of Bangkok (XCL ASB).
